About Becker Vineyards
Located in the Texas Hill Country between Fredericksburg and Stonewall, Becker Vineyards was established in 1992 by Richard and Bunny Becker. The winery, located in a 19th century German limestone barn reproduction, is surrounded by Lavender Fields, Poppy Fields, and Zinnia Fields. The Tasting Room offers an inviting atmosphere with its large, working stone fireplace and antique bar.
Each vintage of Becker wines is aged in new French and American oak barrels and stored in the underground Wine Cellar or Barrel Room.
Next to the winery is the restored original 1880s log cabin, being restored for specialized tours and the Lavender Haus Reception Hall available for private events.
Featured in Wine Spectator, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, starred on The Fine Living Channel, served at The White House, and a nominee for Wine Enthusiast Winery of the Year 2016, these hand crafted, award-winning Bordeaux, Burgundian, and Rhone-styled wines are enjoyed with fine cuisine or casual fare. Wine Club, Library Tasting, Lavender Fest, Events, Tastings, Tours, Picnic Area, Reception Hall, Verandah & outdoor Pavilion await.
Becker Vineyards is open for tastings, tours, wine gift purchases, wine club, and picnicking. We invite you to join us on the porch during the spring and summer, or by the hearth of an open fire during the winter in our Tasting Room; our annual Lavender Festival and our many events throughout the year.
